Animal Care |
As a wildlife rehabilitation center, TWRC aims to provide the best care possible for our animal patients. We want to make sure we do everything in our power to keep them safe and wild so they have the best chance at life after release.
Animal Care volunteers perform a wide variety of functions, including preparing and feeding animals in our care. This involves handling and preparing a variety of foods specific to each species, and occasionally bottle feeding our youngsters. Animal Care volunteers also clean up after our patients and take care of small tasks on the property. |
Fundraising/Community Outreach & Education |
TWRC needs help growing. As a non-profit organization, fundraising is an integral part of our success and sustainability. We also attend several local events throughout the year, and could use help with community outreach and education. We believe that if we can reach people and teach them about wildlife and how to avoid human-wildlife conflicts, we can save lives.
